Acrophobiacs Car-B-Q

September 7, 2025.

Hazelmere RV park

For 21 years, the Acrophobiacs car club has been putting on their yearly Car-B-Q — cars, food, and a good cause all in one spot. The last few years they’ve been hosting it on the Sunday right after the Langley Cruise-In, which makes it the perfect way to wrap up the weekend.

Car clubs from everywhere show up to support, and all the proceeds go to Kruise for Kids Christmas Charity, which is something the Acrophobiacs really care about.

There’s burgers, hotdogs, raffles, and a mini car show that somehow gets bigger every single year. They even give out a prize to the club with the biggest turnout, which adds a fun little competitive twist to the day.

I showed up early because I love watching all the different car clubs roll in — every group, every ride, all with their own vibe.

And this year was special, after prospecting for a while, Justin officially became a member of the Acrophobiacs, and I was lucky enough to catch that moment.

If you’re into cars, food, or just good people doing something meaningful, this event is always worth checking out.
