Kirkie and the Russian Queens Wedding.

I’ve known Brian Kirk AKA "Kirkie" for almost 2 decades. We were born and raised in the same small town. He’s like my older brother, except technically I’m older. Which is funny because I had a whole friend group back in the day, I was like their little sister. Yet, I was the oldest.

Kirkie met Alex in late 2015, at a pub on Yates street in Victoria. 

​

Kirkie fell in love. 

​

I met Alex a few months later. I was very curious who this Alex woman was. After finally meeting her, I understood why Kirkie fell in love with her. 

I called her, the "Russian Queen."

​

They tied the knot Sept 25 2021.

It was perfect. 

The weekend of the wedding was more like a reunion.  Surrounded with old friends, but now as adults. It was lovely to see everybody all grown up. It had been a quite a few years since we have all been together.  Nostalgia at its finest.
