LayedOut:

The Most Epic

BBQ and Cruise.

Saturday, August 10th, 2024.

I’ve gotta say, this day was hands down the wildest and most unforgettable time I’ve had all summer.

The whole vibe was unreal, and I felt incredibly lucky to be part of it.

The 3rd annual LayedOut car show went down on

Sunday, August 11th. My friends rolled in from the mainland with their rides, and we were invited to a barbecue hosted by the Low Rider Club.

Obviously,I brought a couple of cameras to capture the moment. We thought it’d be a small, laid-back gathering, but we couldn’t have been more wrong—it was massive. We rolled in a little late. Over 200 cars flooded the streets of this residential neighborhood, with people everywhere hanging out, cruising, and having the time of their lives.

And the barbecue? Next level. They roasted an entire pig, brought in a chef, and even flew in a DJ Ned Roy from New Zealand. Members brought the sides, and the cars stretched as far as the eye could see—I felt like I had been dropped straight into East LA. It was absolute madness. People were even playing dice on the side of the road. I kept wondering, "Where the hell am I?"

After the barbecue, the classic cars hit the streets, cruising through downtown before ending up at Beacon Hill Park. Tourists lined the streets, snapping photos as we rolled by—a full-on parade of vintage rides. It was electric.

I was riding shotgun in my buddy Karl’s rat rod—the one that shoots flames out the sides. Honestly, I felt like a rockstar.

The night was pure chaos, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Also, the cops? They didn’t seem to care at all.

A big thanks to the LayedOutcc crew for making this unforgettable weekend happen. You guys are the best!
