STORIES
Meanwhile,
in Palm Springs.
A Bachelorette Party Story.
“Palm Springs, where drag queens go to die” - Sasha Colby.
For the longest time, I thought Palm Springs was spelled Palms Springs.
Palmssssss Springssss.
This wasn’t your typical bridesmaid or hangover movie story.
Nine women headed their way to Palm Springs celebrating the soon-to-be bride, Lo.
What could possibly go wrong?
Nothing; it was the best time.
Cue the disco music.
Planning this trip took months. We finally set a date that we all could make. April 20-24. Fuck ya!
We were all excited about the trip, when we realised that Coachella was happening that same weekend. Ah shit, It’s was going to be a busy weekend.
What could we do to pack in a 4-day extravaganza in Palm Springs?
So much to do, and so much to see!
Palm Springs has a very chill vibe.
It’s extremely hot. My kind of place!
Apparently, three weeks before we arrived, the weather was absolutely horrible. They had the worst winter and spring this year. It even snowed! Snow in Palm Springs is unusual.
We stayed in The Movie Colony, in a mid-century modern house.
I could live there forever.
We spent a lot of time lazing by the pool, riding bikes through neighborhoods, singing karaoke, and attending an incredible drag act at the Oscars. Of course, while wearing our best disco-era 70s attire. There was a lot of danncing, laughing, drinking, eating, and more chilling by the pool.
It was an amazing time.
To be honest, I didn’t take as many photos as I wanted. It was hard to keep up!
There were a few bachelorette parties happening that weekend. I feel like it’s the new Vegas.
Just so you know, nine of us didn’t know each other quite well, but we all had one thing in common-being friends with Lo.
We got on great, and we had the best time :)
Thanks to Kira for planning a successful bachelorette weekend for our gal Lo.
So much love for Lo.
Xoxo. I love you, my lo-lo
